With a location like Slovenia, there’s no wonder you can find all the good things from both Eastern Europe and Italy in this place. Character, amazing food and wine, lots of space because of the small population and so much to see and do that you probably won’t leave the country in the first few years you live there.
Slovenia is safe, traditional and modern at the same time and the people are welcoming. The country uses the Euro as a currency, but there is a huge price difference with other Euro countries; in Slovenia things are generally much, much cheaper. About 60% of the country is covered in forests, yet there is still plenty of space for mountains, beaches, castles and countless little villages.
Slovenia is the perfect place to see amazing things, but it is also a good country to work in. Unemployment rates are dropping and are lower than other countries in the area. The country’s GDP is steadily increasing and Slovenia also has great health care and a good education system. The economy is growing fast and Slovenia has a good social security system for people who work in the country, no surprise it’s becoming a very interesting place for immigrants.
